VISIT TOUR TO - Dedhradun Placement
Looking back over our time here, it has gone so quickly and so much has happened.
We have been on a few home visits, made loads of friends, filled in millions
of autograph books and managed to see some of the surrounding area as well.
Not only have we settled into the school, we have settled into Indian culture.
We hardly notice the powercuts and the children have taught us some Indian
games and Hindi Songs. I am so glad I chose to do a placement in India. Because,
these kinds of things just are not experienced through travelling alone.
It has been fascinating to see how the school systems works especially the
school exams they are certainly different to Britain!
Whilst I am looking forward to travelling and seeing more of Indian I feel
settled here and it will be sad to leave! I will definitely keep in contact
with some of the children and am just looking forward to coming back some
day! |
