Mrs. Judith Ross - North-East Textile Tour - September, 2008
Dear Renu,
Once again, you gave us a privileged insight to India. So many amazing experiences
and memories, but the greatest ones are of the hospitality you, Dilip and
Sid gave to us all. You share your country with us in a such a generous way
that I am sure no other tourist leaves with the experiences we have had.
Lucknow and Agra were just as magical as on my first visit. The heat was
difficult for us, but our guides took good care of us. Arun in Lucknow was
a very sensitive young man, and made Ngaire's visit to her twin sister's grave
a very special and emotional time for her. It will be 40 years in February
since she died, the day before their 29th birthdays. Ngaire feels that she
has now fulfilled a promise. Thank you for having him find the grave - it
would have been so difficult for us to do that.
Your proposal for 2010 looks good lovely! I shall wait till the start
of 2010 before I start finding a group. Already a few people are interested.
Many thanks, and much love,
Judith
